Most people wouldn’t be satisfied to lose one pound a week, so they have to at least double the work to lose a reasonable amount. In order to lose an acceptable amount would take more work than most people can do on a regular basis unless they don’t do anything else with their time. Because most of our lives are already fairly busy, there is not enough room left in the schedule to work out as much as we would need to.
Using a fitness regimen to get fit and trim is almost a full time job unto itself. Despite the advertisements, there is not a miracle five minute workout that will burn enough calories. There are workouts that can produce the results that a person wants with exercise alone, but they require a tremendous effort by the individual.
