Signs Of The Zodiac – Are They Something You Could Trust?

Friday, October 30th, 2009

From the vast extent of the astrological science, the study of the star signs

occupies a minor place and it usually makes the basis on which people interpret their relationships

with other people. Can star signs and horoscopes be

trusted? Modern man no longer trusts the predictions of the

horoscope particularly since they are usually written in a

very aleatory manner without any connection with the real study of the star

signs. If you read your horoscope in the

daily newspaper and you often noticed discrepancies with other publications, remember that nobody

cares to look into the stars for answers anymore. Click over here for additional info

about daily love horoscope.

The star signs could reveal very important aspects and potential directions in one’s

life, but, complex astrological analyses are

conducted only by the true scientists of the zodiac. There is a lot of truth in

astrologers’ assertions, though they may totally disprove the predictions in a magazine horoscope column.

The specificity of

the individuality is reflected by the star signs whereas the personality as such falls under the

incidence of the ascendant. Life guidelines and creative orientation could appear in the astrological chart of the

individual, but they are not deterministic; there are other elements to influence one’s evolution and

they are not the asters.

Though many web sites advertise the comprehensiveness of their star signs

charts, there is almost impossible to reveal all the aspects by such a readings. Therefore, the

data gathered by a professional astrologer could be

useful as general guidelines that help you better

understand or accept your nature; such analyses of the

star signs could in fact improve

self-awareness, helping one signal out personal weaknesses or great

strength points. A star reading can be conducted online or by contacting an astrologer

directly.

Special software is also used for star signs analysis since a map of the sky with the exact

position of the constellations and the planets alignment is crucial for the correct

interpretation. Besides the star coordinates on the sky map on the birth moment, the periodical position of

the planets also requires study in order to create a good accurate horoscope that would reflect

reality. The

superiority of astrological star signs investigations over regular newspaper horoscope columns

is therefore beyond any doubt; while the former

is the real thing, the latter is a combination of

fake predictions combined in a

rudimentary fashion. You can obtain

How Fortunate Do You Need To Be To Bear A Red Nautical Star?

Friday, October 30th, 2009

The red nautical star is a modern adaptation of a century-old tattoo. The

North Star and the Southern Cross were the two sparkling dots on the sky that showed sailors their way

on the sea at night; as long as one of these two was visible,

knew their directions. Sailors would therefore

tattoo nautical stars on their arms for

sheer superstition reasons, and to increase chances to get home

unharmed. Compass stars were also popular for the very same reason of staying

on the right course at all times. This old belief is re-adapted in the new design of the red nautical

star. Click over here for more info

on tribal tatoos.

Soldiers choose to wear a red nautical star for a purpose similar to that of the sailors’ in the

times of yore. Good decisions, luck and great fortune, bright spirits and a smooth safe life path, these

are the expectations behind the tattoo. The upward direction of the

nautical red star indicates a superior life vision, but personal choice makes the distinction. Different tattoo colors can be chose even if black and red

represent the classic; green and black, blue and black are

very often used too. Without the black color

included in the design, the red nautical star symbolizes just the energy of the life force.

People choose to give all sorts of connotations to the red

nautical star tattoos and often they also add a distinctive element that sets the design apart from the

classical variant. A person wearing a red nautical star in a visible

place on the body may be willing to explain the meaning he or she gives to the tattoo. For

example, there are people who express their solidarity with those who

donate their organs, others envisage the tattoo as a

homage paid to a moment or person with a special significance in their lives, while others will choose the

red nautical star because it triggers optimism and

vitality. You will obtain

on tribal arm tattoos here.

A nautical red star can be tattooed in any

salon, but you need to be careful about the choice so that all the hygiene conditions are

met properly. How

large the red nautical star will be depends on how you want to wear it. The arms, the legs and

the back make possible the design of a larger nautical star, but many people,

especially women would rather go for some little discreet tattoo for embellishing purposes. You

Designing a new necklace…..

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

Morning to you all, had a great nights sleep so I am now ready to start the day creatively!

When I have a focal bead or pendant that I want to use for a new necklace project the first thing I do is look for beads & spacers thhat I think will work well as accents for the focal bead. I will do all of this before thinking about what I am going to use for connecting them together or even how they will be spaced.

I will then end up with a pile of beads I can use, I probably won’t use all thhe beads I have selected but I like to have some choice in my selection. My next task is set out my focal bead on my bead board and start arranging thhe other beads on the bead board to create a design. This is the part I like best and like to have my camera next to me so I can take snap shots of deisgns I like while I am still swapping and changing the beads around. I usually spend far too long on this part of the process, but in the end getting a design that looks good is the main aim so it deserves the time.

Once I have decided on a design I will usually take a quick look through the photos I have taken to see if there was a better design I had done and then swap round if needed. I will usually keep the photos to use as inspiration later. I have a scrapbook where I keep photos of finished designs along with photos taken during the design stage, I find these are great for days when I have no ideas what to do.

The next stage for me is to decide how I am going to connect them. This usually depends alot on the design, ie how close or far apart the beads are in the design, the colours and style I am looking for.

The clasp is last on the agenda but by no means an afterthought. There are lots of beautiful clasps available so you need to look at what will suit the style of the necklace.

I usually take another photo at this stage just incase something gets knocked or I have to put it away to finish another time, then my time spent designing has not gone to waste (although I never mind spending the time designing).

Hopefully this has given you an insight into how I design, whichh may be helpful to you.

I will be adding some how to guides over the next couple of weeks so if there is anything you want to know first then just let me know.

See You Soon X X X X
